You know what's interesting is these 2015's from Chablis have a lot of texture, a definite creaminess to them and from what i have heard and learned this is because of the year and the summer and growing season that was in it. That summer was what French winemakers dream about. Not much rain, a lot of sunshine, no mildew etc, and then as pure a phenolic ripeness as one can obtain. This is the perfect storm in a bottle and this is one such bottle. The Cote de Lechet is renowned for making a beautiful straight linear wine with few angles. Fantastic gentle tropical fruit aromas on the nose, very subtle in the mouth, as I mentioned due to 2015 this wine has a little puppy fat on it which may blow off in time, but i'd imagine its also got something to do with Lees contact. Lovely citrus in the mouth, this is a class act, a beautiful intro to Chablis and Burgundian whites. Enjoy
